  • dress shopping

    i need to know:


    DRESS NO. 1


    DRESS NO.2


    keep in mind my sash color will be lilac like ^

    they didn't have a lilac sash... only the dark purple. but the nice lady gave me a lilac shrug and so i put it on and had one of my bridesmaid (meli) wear the dress that i decided the girls will wear!

    which one do you guys like more??

  • I think i like u better without the sash..the sash cuts your body in half while dress #1 really elongates your body.

  • I vote for #1. It has more visual interest and looks less like something that 20 years down the road you'll think "Ugh what was I THINKING?!"--that's a thought I always tried to keep in mind when I was dress shopping--will I still like this in 20 years?

  • I think the first dress will make you look taller, but I prefer the sashed one.

  • I like the first one, it looks like one of my final 3 choices (waiting to show my mom before I decide for sure).... I liked second one with the sash but then my future sister in law who came with me said it looked like a cumberbund for a tuxedo. Then the more I looked at it, the more I agreed. But the simplicity of the second one is really nice. I just really like the wrapped look of the first one.

  • #1.  The silouette makes you look taller and slimmer.  But on a personal note, I never liked the colored-sash look so I may be biased. 

  • hi.  thanks for the comment.  i love #1, it makes you look so tall and lean!  i did the same thing that ktthekcbride did: I asked myself, which one will i look back on in 20 years and not think, "what the H*&& was I thinking?!?".  :)   congrats on your engagement!

  • I voted for #1 on weddingbee. I love the way that #1 fits you and makes your waist look tiny, and you look so elegant in it!

  • both are nice but the first is more flattering.. makes you look leaner.
