A Cinderella Wedding
I was talking to a friend of mine when he sent me over to a website of his friend who recently got married and I was instantly in love! Their wedding was like Cinderella.... quite beautiful. I noticed her videos most of all since they were quite beautiful and I asked her if she would like to share her most special day with our weddingbee readers. She was more than happy to share it with us! Congratulations Amy and Alex!

We had our wedding day filmed professionally not once, but TWICE!
Allow me to explain. Like everything else wedding related, we just
couldn't decide on one style of videography. Our videographer Patrick
of Still-Motion.ca specializes in a cinematic style, which I love and is the reason we
booked him in the first place. We really liked the idea of an
emotional retelling of our day. But there is something so irresistible
about Super 8mm (a topic covered once here before)! At the time we
booked, they did not offer Super 8mm coverage. But Patrick, never one to turn down a challenge, decided to do it for us. Two days
before the wedding, I called Patrick to finalize the wedding day
details and we got to talking about Super 8mm.
It went something like
this:Patrick: It says here you want the Super 8 coverage to be "home-movie" like. What does that mean exactly?
Me: Um...I want it to be shakey, kinda amateurish looking.
Patrick: You want us to to shake the camera? Make it look like an amateur shot it?
Me: ...uhhh...exactly, yes, that's what I want!We love that we got to see our day filmed from two very
different perspectives! The first clip is filmed entirely in Super 8mm http://www.lookeschvideo.com/?p=5 or:
...and this is our highlights clip in a style similar to the rest of our video http://www.lookeschvideo.com/
